Job Function Summary

We are looking for an energetic, smart and self motivated professional to join our team in the role of Business Development Coordinator (BDC). The BDC is a key member of the Business Development team responsible for coordinating with marketing and sales to respond to, and help generate leads. The BDC will help profile and convert leads into the sales funnel for hand-off to a Business Development Managers or individual follow up.

Our Business Development and Relationship Management team works with Registered Investment Advisors, Independent Broker Dealers and Banks interested in our wealth management technology platform and services.

The role demands an ability to balance a number of priorities as well as superior organizational skills. It requires an individual who understands and is energized by the importance of sales and client support to drive company growth.


Responsibilities

  • Auditing, reviewing and qualifying marketing leads and prospect information
  • Moving leads from qualified to sales opportunities
  • Work with the Marketing team to co-develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns
  • Identifies opportunities to increase performance in sales funnel management
  • Comfortable engaging with clients and prospects in all phases of the sales process
  • Serves as an enabler to keep BDMs and RMs connected to the activities of the home office
  • Supports business development pipeline management and prospect engagement

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services (wealth management preferred)
  • 2+ years in sales role: enablement/ops or sales rep
  • Friendly and upbeat demeanor with exceptional communication skills
  • Tech-minded: interest in leveraging tools to increase optimization of marketing-sales machine
  • Experience in HubSpot, Zoho and/or other CRMs
  • Well-developed organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to describe and demonstrate the company’s software & value proposition to leads
  • Commitment to provide an outstanding client experience
  • Fast learner with the ability to learn new technology; internally and our competitive ecosystem
  • Enthusiastic team-centric personality
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Position is based in New York City or Raleigh, NC
